Who doesn't love a juicy, grilled burger on a hot summer day? The Atchafalaya Burger is perfect for a neighborhood BBQ or family gathering. It has the perfect mixture of rich flavor and Louisiana spice. Melt your favorite cheese on top to really make it pop.
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons Basin Blend
1/2 teaspoon salt (optional)
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/4 cup breadcrumbs
1 pound lean ground beef
Wisk the egg in a small bowl and add the Worcestershire sauce, Basin Blend, salt, and cayenne pepper.
Use your hands to mix the ingredients with the ground beef. Gently shape (don't press) the mixture into patties. Place the patties in the refrigerator for about 20 minutes while you prepare the sides.
When the patties have cooled, set them on the grill and close the lid. Grill until the center is no longer pink, turning once (about 6 minutes on each side).
Melt a slice of cheese on the burger before removing it from the grill.
