Looking for an easy meal for a busy day? Sausage and Potato Stew is one of my favorites. It's easy to make and tastes great. It's what I like to call a "cook-and-leave" meal. You can put it on the stove and walk away until dinner time. Click Read More for the recipe.
Cooking Time: about 45 minutes
1 Medium onion
1 lb sausage
8 Cups water
¼ Cup olive oil
5 lbs potatoes
4 Tbsp Basin Blend seasoning
1 Tsp Paprika
¼ Tsp Cayenne pepper (optional)
Cut the sausage into medallions and sprinkle with paprika.
Peel and cut the potatoes into cubes.
Dice the onion and combine with olive oil and the sausage in a large pot. Brown the onions and sausage over medium heat.
When the onions are translucent, add potatoes and slowly cover the ingredients with water.
Add Basin Blend and cayenne pepper (optional). Cover and bring the pot to a boil, stirring occasionally.
When it starts to boil, reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
